I’m glad I have stayed on this journey with Thor and Odinson since Thor: God of Thunder ended. I was on board with Jason Aaron because he hadn’t steered me wrong in TGoT and had a plan in place. I was still skeptical as to how everything was going to tie together with essentially two of the same character hanging around. But man oh man is it great!

Over these four issues Thor and (Thor) Odinson fight Malekith, Frost Giants, trolls, and each other. Odinson sees his hammer, Mjolnir, do things for this Thor he never saw before, and finds her worthy of his name.

Of course the All-Father Odin does not appreciate this “imposter” and is burning to find out who she is. While the All-Mother sees the usefulness of Thor and is kinda, secretly jealous of her.

The story continues to build and the mystery of who Mjolnir deemed worthy on the Moon is just getting started. We do know two names we can cross off: Freyja and Sif. I think it’s Jane Foster, but I think I saw somewhere Jason Aaron shoot that theory down. Who do you think it might be?
